Modern competitive times for agriculture, international regulations for Good Agricultural Practice, consumer and environment protection make it of increasing important now more than ever for the introduction of soil science and leaf analysis at the production process.

Soil Science and Plant Diagnostics Laboratory

The chemical analysis of soil samples gives valuable information for the available nutrients in the soil in a way that scientists can give appropriate advice to producers for the types and quantities of fertilizers or other materials that need to be added in order to improve soil fertility.
With leaf analysis, the nutritional status of crops at the time of sampling can be determined and required action can be suggested (regular cultivation, fertilization, folliage application, etc) to correct any problems and improve the crop.

Soil Science and Plant Diagnostics Laboratory

Analyses of soil and plant tissue are necessary to:

  • Optimize the quality of agricultural products
  • Increase production
  • Reduce production costs through rational use of fertilizers
  • Protect natural resources and minimize environmental pollution

The Laboratory of Soil Science and Plant Diagnostics is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art facilities that allow the performance of advanced chemical and physico-chemical analysis of the soil, plant tissue, irrigation water and compost.

The resulting data is indicative of the soil or leaf tissue sample quality, connecting to applications such as: crop production, hydroponics, organic cultivation and environmental protection.

Samples of soil, plant tissue and water are analyzed by qualified scientists and provide responsible and reliable advice for rational fertilization.

The soil and leaf analysis laboratory provides

  • with confidence:
  • Reliability of analysis
  • Speed of service to producers
  • Authoritative personalized advice for fertilization and soil management
