194th EAAE Seminar
We are pleased to announce the 194th EAAE Seminar, titled: “Matching Agri-Food Systems and Ecosystems via AI: Aligning Digital Innovation with Sustainability and Policy Goals” The seminar will be held at the CIHEAM MAICh (Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania), in Chania, Greece, on 10–11 September 2026.
This event will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from across Europe and beyond to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital innovation can support more resilient, sustainable, and ecosystem-oriented agri-food systems. Discussions will address key global challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, food security, and resource scarcity, while promoting evidence-based policymaking and sustainable development.
The seminar will also emphasize the importance of aligning AI-driven solutions with major European and international policy frameworks, such as the European Green Deal, the Farm to Fork Strategy, and global climate and biodiversity commitments.
